Conroy Forte

Digital Promotions & Music Production

BIOGRAPHY

“My greatest talent is knowing exactly what I want to hear.” — Dr Dre

Conroy Forte has been a mainstay on the music scene since 1999. In that same year, he graduated from the Institute of Audio Research in New York with a 4.0 GPA. He Studied Music Business and Management, Electronics, Acoustics and Sound, Music Production, Mixing, and Editing techniques. Forte has worked on music for artists such as Michael Bolton, NE-YO, Sean Paul, Snoop Dogg, Konshens, Tessanne Chin, Nicky B, Voicemail, Busy Sigal among others.

In 2005, Forte secured a record contract for Tami Chynn with Universal Records and executive produced her debut album “Out of Many One”. The single “Looky Looky” was featured in the film “Take the Lead” starring Antonio Banderas. Forte founded Washroom Entertainment in 2009 and continued his run of producing outstanding music. His production of Voicemail’s “Dance The Night Away” feat. Busy Signal won a 2010 EME award. The song was also used by Pepsi Jamaica for their ad campaign Island Wide. This sparked Forte’s introduction into the corporate advertising business. Since then Forte has produced ad campaigns for the island’s largest corporations: Digicel, KFC, RED STRIPE, Burger King, Best Dressed Chicken, and Jamaica National to name a few. In 2013 he discovered 16-year-old Samantha J. Over the next year he produced her debut hit single “Tight Skirt” and helped secure a seven-album recording deal with Columbia records in 2014.  He continues to work with Oceanic artists Megan Soo and Shöckface.

A self-proclaimed “music junkie,” Forte credits the Jamaican music scene as an instrumental platform in getting him started in the music business.  He’s also grateful to his Washroom family consisting of Damian McGann, Ryan Chin, Jath Neil Randal, and Natel Hewitt who have all supported his music production house and its expansion with corporate marketing and advertising.
