As President of Superadio Networks and Radio One’s Syndication One, he built the largest concentration of African American content in the contemporary radio era including Wendy Williams, Rickey Smiley, Yolanda Adams, BeBe Winans, TD Jakes, Russ Parr, Al Sharpton, Donnie McClurkin, Walt “Baby” Love, Roland Martin, the Baka Boyz, and the world’s largest mix show network , just to name a new. As the consummate deal maker, he even brokered the sale of Superadio to Access 1 Communications for over 40 million dollars.
As the leading advertising executive in the Boston radio market for almost a decade at WEEI, Bernstein reinvented sports marketing and advertising with the Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots while accounting for over 50 percent of the station’s overall billing. Bernstein, along with veteran Atlanta ad executive Johnny Dixon, recently formed the Creative Influence Shop, to help serve the needs of companies looking for innovative creative and strategies linking personalities/influencers with new-age marketing campaigns.
As a music manager and producer, Bernstein took teen sensation Ryan Beatty to the top of the pop charts as an independent artist before his signing with Interscope Records. In a groundbreaking move out of Jamaica, Bernstein, took a slightly known teen model, Samantha J, and turned her into a successful recording artist signing with Columbia Records and then Sony Norway. TMZ ultimately broke the news story related to Bernstein’s historic achievement. Oceanic Tradewinds is currently the home to Shockface, one of the emerging forces on the EDM scene. As a current trendsetter in the social media space, Bernstein is COO of social media touring company, Klik Events, which is home to the Boys Of Summer Tour, the largest and most successful tour in the influencer/artist touring sector.
